Spokesperson for the Socialist Front (1990-2008), president of the Puerto Rican Association of University Professors (1996-1999), candidate for governor for the Workers’ Party (2012, 2016) and senator for the Citizen Victory Movement (2021-2024). Author of various books on Puerto Rican history, society and culture.
